Introduction
I was born and raised in Tallahassee, as was Cory. I attended Leon High School and graduated from there in 2004. I immediately began my studies at FSU that summer with the hopes of becoming a pharmacist, so I majored in Biochemistry. After a couple of years, some terrible grades, and then ultimately losing my scholarship, I decided to go a different route and pursue a Sociology degree with a minor in Psychology. Over the past few years, I've held waitressing positions, assistant positions, and worked for about 2 years at the Florida Senate. I have most recently began working at Apalachee Center as a Performance Improvement Specialist. I am currently attending school on a part-time basis in hopes of earning my Master's in Risk Management and Insurance. Cory and I met in 2008, began dating in January of 2009, got engaged in July 2009, and got married in October 2009.
I became a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in July of 2009, just 1 week before Cory and I got engaged, and we recently had the wonderful experience of being sealed together for eternity in the Orlando, Florida LDS Temple on October 29, 2011. I love my religion, I love my family, and I love my life. I couldn't ask for a better one!
